Depression is debilitating for the person experiencing it. This holds true, whether the depression is situational to present circumstances, or the depression is linked to long-term issues from the past. While medication is useful at times, my approach of talk therapy is helpful with or without medication.
My work helps people uncover the SOURCE of the depression. Using Jungian techniques and other psychological modalities, I first help people COPE with depression, find the UNDERLYING CAUSE, and then help people move to a different awareness of the SELF.
This results in people feeling HOPE for a life without depression. They can then use this hope to build a new way of relating to oneself, to others, and to the world at large.
