grief work

If you have experienced the loss of a loved one, grief may be your constant companion.  Studies have shown that the only way out of grief is through it.  Indeed, grief cannot be ignored, lest we become stuck in one of the reactions of grief, such as anger, sadness, or yearning.  Faith is an experienced facilitator of bereavement support groups and works individually with people experiencing grief.  The goal of grief therapy is to feel hope again and reengage in life in a way that feels fulfilling. Each of us will inevitably lose someone we love through death, but we do not have to stay stuck in the pain of grief.  There is a LIGHT at the end of the tunnel.  There is HOPE.  There is JOY to be felt once again.
